Evaluation of Leadership Styles in the Construction Sector of UAE

Abstract
The construction industry of UAE is huge and requires effective leadership strategies for its development and growth. For the success of the construction industry, transformational and transactional leaderships are to be followed so that the managers can meet the changing situations effectively. The findings obtained from this study consequently revealed that age, nationality, education, work experience and organizational position of the leader plays a significant role in determining the leadership style he/she applies. However, the gender of a leader has no correlation with the style of leadership.- Full Text: PDF
