TESTING THE DIMENSIONALITY OF INTEGRATED HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT STRATEGY AMONG MANUFACTURING ORGANIZATIONS
- Hasliza Abdul Halim
Abstract
This paper aims to examine the dimensionality of the integrated human resource management (HRM) strategy in the Malaysian context. The effectiveness of the dimensional scale of HRM strategy was investigated with a sample of 113 manufacturing organizations. Results of exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses demonstrated that the 6-subscale structure of HRM strategy was valid. Furthermore, the results verified that the integrated HRM strategy scale has high internal reliability. These results indicate that the integrated HRM strategy scale can be used in research related to manufacturing organizations in Malaysia.
