Abstract
The public-owned college run by private agencies is a type of higher education with Chinese characteristics. It should maintain its differences from major universities and colleges, and make the most of the brand advantages to promote its blood-production function, which will bring about a sustainable development, so that it can realize the maximum efficiency in school management. The main factors influencing the efficiency of public-owned colleges run by private agencies are: the way the college is operated and managed, the way the fund is raised and the way the property rights are defined, etc. The appropriateness of these factors is also discussed.- Full Text:
