Diagnosing of Sustainable Competitive Advantage Using Six Sigma Methodology

Abstract
In this paper six sigma method for diagnosing the sustainable competitive advantages in organizations was
proposed. The study used a survey strategy “self-administered questionnaire”, to collect the primary data. The
sample of the targeted population consists of 40 Doctors in public hygienic institutions in Iraq, with various
functions and from different managerial levels. The analysis shows that six sigma methods in the organization’s
operations should be taken into consideration with necessary adaptation. The research proposes an approach that
enables a systematic analysis of six sigma in diagnosing the sustainable competitive advantages in service
organizations through the use of a survey strategy, called “self-administered questionnaire”.
