Journal of Geography and Geology (JGG) is an international, double-anonymized peer-reviewed, open-access journal, published by the Canadian Center of Science and Education. It serves as a platform for advancing and disseminating high-quality geoscientific knowledge across diverse geographical and geological domains worldwide.

JGG employs a rigorous double-anonymized peer-review process to ensure academic integrity, objectivity, and methodological rigor. The journal publishes original, empirically grounded, and theoretically informed contributions that reflect significant advances in the geosciences. Its scope encompasses—though is not limited to—the following disciplines: physical and human geography; spatial analysis and cartography; geographic information science (GIS) and remote sensing; geodesy and geomorphology; hydrology, glaciology, and atmospheric and marine geoscience; geology, geophysics, and geochemistry; mineralogy, petrology, sedimentology, and stratigraphy; paleontology and tectonics; environmental and engineering geology; geological hazard assessment and planetary geoscience.

JGG publishes original research, applied, and educational articles in all areas of geography and geology. Authors are encouraged to submit complete, unpublished, original works that are not under review in any other journals. The online version is free to access and download.
