Abstract
The development of students’ life skills has become increasingly important in contemporary education, and proactive student support strategies grounded in ethical principles may provide an effective approach for strengthening students’ holistic development. The purposes of this study were (1) to study the factors and indicators of a proactive Student Support System based on the Seven Principles of Sappurisadhamma to enhance students’ life skills; (2) to verify the congruence and appropriateness and develop school administrative strategies; and (3) to create and evaluate strategies for proactive implementation of the Student Support System under the Roi Et Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The participants consisted of 550 school administrators and teachers, as well as experts involved in interviews and strategy evaluation. The research instruments included an interview form, a five-point rating scale questionnaire, and a strategy evaluation form. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, correlation coefficient analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and content analysis. The results of the study showed that the proactive Student Support System consisted of three major factors—proactive implementation of the system, operational effectiveness of the system, and enhancement of students’ life skills—and the developed strategies were evaluated as highly appropriate and feasible for implementation. The study contributes a practical strategic framework that integrates the Seven Principles of Sappurisadhamma into proactive student support practices for enhancing students’ life skills in schools.
