Abstract
This interpretive qualitative study investigated how school directors in northern Thailand dealt with the post-pandemic challenges of overseeing an elderly school network. This study was conducted through semi-structured interviews with 24 urban and rural school directors, which provided their life experiences, decision-making process, and responsiveness in the instruction for the senior population. The thematic analysis identified four key themes including striking a balance between innovation and cultural preservation, creating sustainable community networks, accommodating learners with a range of requirements, and placing older adults at the center of program development. These findings advance geriatrics by emphasizing the value of operational practices, technology integration, and cultural inheritance in supporting senior citizens. The results of this study emphasize how important it is for administrators to serve as cultural mediators, which involves guaranteeing participatory decision-making and overcoming systemic obstacles to educational access. These insights have significant implications for culturally sensitive educational policies that incorporate local wisdom and innovative technologies within rapidly aging societies.
