Abstract

Jane Eyre’s image changing in China in the 20^th century is the portraiture of the changing of social features and ideology in China. In the era of ideology playing an important role people explain and understand Jane Eyre according to ideology. No matter what she had modern female consciousness or the pursuit of equality or holding Christ and Confuciansim and whatever kind of a woman she was, everything was Jane Eyre’s expression of a specific feature in the paper.
