International Journal of Economics and Finance (IJEF) is a double-anonymized, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published monthly by the Canadian Center of Science and Education. The journal is dedicated to advancing scholarly research and knowledge exchange in the fields of economics and finance.

Authors are encouraged to submit complete, original, unpublished manuscripts that are not under review by any other journal. All published articles are freely available online.

 


Focus and Scope

International Journal of Economics and Finance (IJEF) welcomes original, unpublished research that contributes to theoretical, empirical, and policy-oriented understandings of contemporary economic and financial issues.

The scope of IJEF includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  • Macroeconomic theory and policy

  • Economic growth and development

  • Financial markets, institutions, and instruments

  • Corporate finance and governance

  • Behavioral and experimental economics

  • International trade and finance

  • Monetary and fiscal policy

  • Financial econometrics and quantitative methods

The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  • Review articles and systematic literature reviews

  • Short communications and research notes

  • Policy-oriented studies and case analyses

IJEF encourages submissions that employ diverse methodological approaches—including theoretical modeling, empirical analysis, experimental designs, and case studies—and that address research questions with implications beyond a single locality or region.
