Soy-derived Phosphate Ester Insertion on Polyurethane Synthesis
- Flora Elvistia Firdaus
Abstract
Polyurethane foams (PUF) were substantially manufactured from isocyanate TDI: MDI (70:30) and polyol; a ring-opening hydrolysis mechanism of epoxidized soybean oil with ethylene glycol (EG) in the presence of o-phosphoric acid 85 %. The amount of phosphoric acid, and their derivates were found to be significantly effected in replacing petroleum polyol until 100 %.
