Investigation on the Effectiveness of Treatments for Overcoming Emotional, Mental and Physical Health Problems

Abstract
This study is aimed at investigating the effectiveness of various treatments to overcome emotional, mental and physical (EMP)health problems among medical students in Pakistan. The EMP health is assessed using two questionnaires. The effectiveness
of treatments to overcome EMP health problems was evaluated using statistical paired t-test on 113 medical students.
‘Soothing the body and the mind’ and ‘Collarbone breathing exercise’ are found to be most effective methods of treatment for
emotional health problem. All treatments for EMP health problems are found to be effective if the respondents performed the
treatments regularly.
