Focus and Scope

Global Journal of Health Science publishes rigorous research for an international health-science readership.

The journal welcomes work in public and community health, epidemiology and prevention, health equity, behavioral and mental health, environmental and occupational health, maternal and child health, nutrition and health promotion, health policy and services, health economics and ethics, health systems, digital health, and global or international health.

Comparative and multi-country studies are encouraged, but research from a single setting is also eligible when it addresses a defined health-science question, uses a sound design, and explains the relevance or transferability of its findings beyond the immediate institution. Clinical, informatics, or educational studies must contribute to population health, prevention, equity, implementation, health behavior, or health-system performance rather than report individual efficacy or satisfaction alone.

The journal publishes original research, reviews, policy analyses, implementation research, and methods papers. It excludes isolated case reports, laboratory studies without a health-science or population-health contribution, local administrative audits, and descriptive programs that do not test a question or produce transferable evidence.
