Abstract
This paper describes a cinema seat booking system and its design. The idea behind the system is to allow public kiosks to be installed in local shopping areas, where members of the general public could pre-book cinema seats for the film of their choice. A discussion follows on the design of a prototype for the system. Requirements specification is discussed and a design and task analysis is carried out. Evaluation is very important in computer interface development and improvement. Here analytical, observational and usability evaluations are carried out. The system created is found to be visually pleasing, user-focused and fully functional.- Full Text:
