About Journal

Computer and Information Science (CIS) is an international, double-anonymized peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Canadian Center of Science and Education. The journal is dedicated to the worldwide dissemination of high-quality research across the field of Computer and Information Science. 

Authors are encouraged to submit complete, original, unpublished manuscripts that are not under review by any other journal. All published articles are freely available online.

Focus and Scope

Computer and Information Science publishes original, unpublished manuscripts in areas of computer and information science. The journal welcomes submissions that present significant theoretical, practical, and pedagogical contributions. 

Topics within the journal's scope include:

• Artificial Intelligence & Data Science: Large language models (LLMs), generative AI, AI‑powered tools and systems, machine learning, data mining, neural networks, knowledge representation, and intelligent systems.

• Computer Systems & Networks: Computer architecture, operating systems, communications, wireless technology, cloud computing, and performance evaluation.

• Software Engineering & Programming: Software design, programming languages, Object-Oriented Programming, compilers, and formal methods.

• Human-Centered Computing: Human-computer interaction, multimedia, web design, and virtual reality.

• Security & Informatics: Cybersecurity, cryptology, management information systems, and information resources management.
