Social Risks of Medical Tourism

Abstract
Modern medicine as a subject of international tourism. Conceptual approaches to the definition and descriptionof medical tourism were analyzed. International experience in rendering services of medical tourism, its rapidgrowth in such countries as the USA, Germany Israel and India was studied. A range of serviced rendered byforeign medical institutions was described. Prospects of medical tourism in today’s Russia was considered.Social role of travel agencies in development of medical tourism was described. Social risks were revealed anddescribed and recommendations to develop medical tourism were suggested.- Full Text: PDF
