Impact of Work-Life Quality on Employees Job Performance: A Case Study of Kavin Group Company Kurdistan – Iraq

Abstract

The paper discussed impact of work-life quality of on employees’ job performance in kavin group company Kurdistan - Iraq. The research question ascertained the extent to which work-life quality influences employees job satisfaction, work-life balance, productivity and turnover in Kavin group company Kurdistan. A cross- sectional research design was used in carrying out the study in which primary data was generated using questionnaire. A sample size of 150 was purposively determined from a population of 1000 employees of Kavin Group company Duhok –Kurdistan. The sample size consisting of 15 managers, 30 supervisors and 105 shop-floor workers were randomly selected from the population size using stratified random sampling method of shuffling and selection of cards without replacement method. The period of study is between September, 2023 and August, 2024.This study concludes that work-life quality has to a large extent influenced employees’ job satisfaction, work-life balance, productivity and turnover in Kavin group company Kurdistan and therefore and recommends among others: creation of awareness on the importance of good and sustainable work-life quality, continuous review of existing work environment, regular training and development of the workforce, matching of employees' specialties with open positions while hiring.
