About Journal

Applied Physics Research (APR) is an international, double-anonymized peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Canadian Center of Science and Education. The journal publishes original and high-quality research across all fields of applied physics.

The journal is published semiannually (April & October). Authors are encouraged to submit complete, original and unpublished articles that are not under review by any other journal. All published articles are freely available online.

The journal accepts both online submission and Email submission. Manuscripts (MS Word/PDF/LaTex format) and supplementary materials can be submitted via the journal's Online Submission System or email to apr@ccsenet.org.

If you have any questions, please contact the editorial assistant at apr@ccsenet.org

Focus and Scope

Applied Physics Research (APR) focuses on the practical application of physical principles and theories to solve real‑world problems in technology, engineering, industry, health, energy, and the environment. The journal welcomes studies covering the following fields:
- Acoustics and vibration
- Optics, photonics, and lasers
- Plasma and beam technologies
- Nanostructures and nanodevices
- Medical and biophysical technologies
- Electronic, optical, and magnetic materials
- Nuclear technology and radiation applications
- Condensed matter physics and material physics
- Computational or data-driven physical modeling
- Electromagnetics, microwave and millimeter-wave physics
- Quantum technologies and quantum device applications
- Energy conversion and renewable energy technologies
- Precision measurement, sensors, and instrumentation

Work in geophysics, space science, manufacturing, or other adjacent fields is eligible only when it develops or validates an applied physical method, device, material, or process.
