The Effects of Education on Enterprise Resource Planning Implementation Success and Perceived Organizational Performance

Abstract
The aim of study is to define education activities which must be taken into consideration while implementing successfully the enterprise resource planning (ERP) software package system in the organization. To analyze the effect of education on the implementation success of ERP systems and organizational performance, the data obtained from 236 firms via mail survey were analyzed using regression. Findings obtained from analysis showed that (1) an increase in education activities increased the implementation success of ERP. (2) Education had a significant effect statistically on perceived organizational performance. (3) An increase in the implementation success of ERP increased the organizational performance significantly and (4) when the implementation success of ERP together with education were taken into consideration in explaining the perceived organizational performance; the variables such as the implementation success of ERP, were significantly meaningful.- Full Text: PDF
