The Risk of Information Technology on Employment

Abstract
The investigation of whether or not the development of technology has become the enemy of employment is a boundless topic. There is no denying that technology plays an indispensable role in today’s society. However, the changing status of employment shows that with the development of technologies, the requirements of employees are not longer merely based on the basic skills and traditional knowledge, which was required before. In fact, under the development of information technology, employees seem have to undergone more negative effects than positive effects.
