Asian Social Science (ASS) is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Canadian Center of Science and Education. The journal focuses on the following topics: anthropology, sociology, politics, culture, history, philosophy, economics, education, management, arts, laws, linguistics and psychology. It provides an academic platform for professionals and researchers to contribute innovative work in the field. The journal carries original and full-length articles that reflect the latest research and developments in both theoretical and practical aspects of society and human behaviors.
The journal is published in both print and online versions. The online version is free access and download.

What is e-Version FirstTM

e-Version First is a feature offered through our journal platform. It allows PDF version of manuscripts that have been peer reviewed and accepted, to be hosted online prior to their inclusion in a final printed journal. Readers can freely access or cite the article.
We aim to publish accepted manuscripts in e-Version First in two week's time after the final draft completed.



The publisher and journal have a policy of “Zero Tolerance on the Plagiarism”. We check the plagiarism issue with two methods: reviewer check and plagiarism prevention tool (

Publication Fees Adjustment Notice (Effective January 1, 2015)


Effective 1 January 2015, the publication fee will increase from 300.00USD to 400.00USD. Manuscripts submitted on or after this date will be charged the new rate of 400.00USD per article.

Manuscripts submitted in 2014 can take advantage of the old rate (300.00USD) if paid on or before January 31, 2015.

All 2014’s manuscripts unpaid by 31 January 2015 will be charged the new rate of 400.00USD.
