Abstract

Workplace politics is an endemic factor in organizations. It becomes necessary to look at factors which reduceits negative effects on employees’ work outcomes and attitudes. From a sample of 125 individuals working indiverse organizations in Senegal, the findings from multiple hierarchical regressions revealed that workplacepolitics had less negative effect on organizational commitment, organizational citizenship behavior and jobperformance when employees are satisfied. The findings also showed that job satisfaction had no influence onthe relationship between workplace politics and neglect.
